Wired: Living Machines

February 11st 2004 in the wee hours
I know this appeared on Slashdot last week, but that doesn’t really make it any less interesting. Wired’s February issue is running an article called “Living Machines” with the grab line “Technology and biology are converging fast. The result will transform everything from engineering to art - and redefine life as we know it.” It consists of eight briefs each describing applications that apply biological models to non-living machines.
